PPSU protective component for medical technology applications
Protective component in PPSU for sensitive medical technology applications. The part is designed for a precise fit, material-appropriate high-temperature processing and low-particle handling in downstream processes.
The moulded part is produced by precision injection moulding in a single-cavity injection mould with direct hot-runner gating through an open nozzle. This eliminates gate removal and the associated particle risk. After moulding, the parts undergo 100% visual inspection, are checked by optical and tactile sample inspection, cleaned in a washer-disinfector and then packaged in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom.
