PEEK cluster gears for high-temperature applications
Cluster gears in natural-coloured, unreinforced PEEK for power transmission in applications with high thermal requirements. The parts are designed for precise gear quality, reproducible runout, dimensional accuracy and low-wear operation.
The parts are produced by precision injection moulding using a master mould with five conversion sets, each with two cavities, for different gear variants and modules. The decisive factor is the reliable reproduction of the tooth geometry with dimensionally accurate tooth flanks and bores; parts are checked by optical and tactile sample inspection and by gear rolling inspection.
