Clip guide frame for large autoclaves
Precision part in natural-coloured, unreinforced PEEK used as a sliding and guiding element for the drum guide in a large autoclave. The moulded part is clipped into a stainless steel basket and acts as a wear-optimised sliding shoe between basket and drum.
The application places high demands on temperature resistance, steam exposure and reproducible sliding behaviour in autoclave operation. The part was implemented in a two-cavity micro injection mould in MTT size, which allows small functional geometries to be produced economically and precisely.
The undercut clamping geometry for attachment to the basket is particularly demanding and is achieved by reliable forced demoulding. Quality assurance is based on optical and tactile sample inspections.
