Precision housing part for CAT6A connectors
CAT6A connector housing used as an internal functional part in high-performance data connections. The part performs locating and latching functions inside the connector and is designed for precise fit and reproducible assembly characteristics.
It is produced by precision injection moulding in reinforced polyamide in an eight-cavity injection mould. The focus is on high dimensional accuracy, a stable part geometry and reliable control of warpage in the slender functional contours.
Balancing the hot-runner system and achieving uniform cavity filling are particularly demanding, as both are essential for economical production with consistent part quality. Quality assurance is based on optical and tactile sample inspections.
