With the Milacron eQ230, we are expanding our production capability with an all-electric injection moulding machine for pharma-related applications and larger plastic parts. The machine provides additional clamping force, more mould space and a stable basis for reproducible production processes.

More clamping force for larger technical parts

The Milacron eQ230 adds capacity for projects involving larger moulds, higher clamping force requirements and demanding process-control requirements. With 2,300 kN of clamping force, generous platens and wide tie-bar spacing, it significantly extends the usable production range.

This allows us to use larger moulded parts and moulds requiring more space more selectively. For customers, it provides additional capacity for projects that require both larger mould dimensions and reproducible part quality.

All-electric technology for traceable processes

As an all-electric injection moulding machine, the eQ230 supports precise machine movements and highly controllable process conditions. This is particularly helpful in applications that require consistent part quality across repeated cycles.

Processes can be developed systematically, optimised and transferred into production. In quality-critical projects in particular, this traceability is an important factor – from the first mould trial through to ongoing production.

Greater production flexibility for new requirements

The machine improves our production-planning options and provides greater flexibility for different mould and part sizes. It particularly extends our capabilities where larger platen areas, longer flow paths or multi-cavity moulds with stable cavity filling are required.

For BERGER, the Milacron eQ230 is therefore a targeted investment in production range and process reliability – benefiting new projects, stable ramp-ups and economical production.
