Technical development and series production
BERGER was founded as an injection moulding technical centre. Tool sampling, material selection and process development have shaped the company from the very beginning.
From these origins, BERGER has developed into a series manufacturer without losing its technical development focus. New moulds and components are sampled, manufacturing processes are established and – depending on the project – transferred into series production. Production volumes range from small and medium-sized batches to annual quantities of up to 10,000,000 parts.
Project engineering, technical development, series production and quality assurance are closely integrated at our Kenzingen site. This ensures that knowledge of the component, mould, material and process remains available beyond sampling and production launch throughout the series lifecycle.
Technical focus
Our focus is on plastic components where geometry, material or application place particular demands on the manufacturing process.
Our core capabilities include:
- Precision injection moulding for technical functional components
- Micro injection moulding for small and intricate component geometries
- Multi-component injection moulding for integrated functions
- Processing of engineering plastics and high-performance polymers, particularly PEEK
- Automated cleaning as well as inspection, assembly and packaging in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom
Our components are used in medical technology, pharmaceutical-related applications, electronics, gear technology and the automotive sector. The spectrum ranges from technical functional components to parts with increased requirements for quality, documentation and controlled downstream processing.
Family-owned in the second generation
BERGER is a family-owned company and has been managed by Marco and Patrick Berger in the second generation since 2022.
Both managing directors are directly involved in day-to-day operations and company management. Ownership and operational management therefore remain within the family and closely connected to the continued development of the company at its Kenzingen site.
